Refunds, Cancellations, and Your Rights: Our Terms in Plain English

Terms & Conditions pages exist to be read, but we know most people skim past them. This is the same information from ours, on refunds, cancellations, liability, and complaints, written the way we'd actually explain it to someone.
Why tickets aren't refundable once allocated
Once a ticket has been allocated a unique number and entered into the draw, we can't offer refunds, exchanges, or cancellations, with two exceptions: where we cancel the raffle ourselves prior to its draw, or where you're entitled to a refund under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or other applicable consumer law. Entry into a prize raffle is a service that begins the moment your ticket is issued, so by completing checkout you're acknowledging that performance starts immediately, which is why the standard 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases doesn't apply once a ticket has been allocated. Choose your ticket quantity carefully before you check out.
An extension is not a cancellation
A raffle running past its advertised draw date under the automatic extension described in our draw guarantee doesn't itself entitle you to a refund. It isn't a cancellation, your ticket is unaffected and stays in the same draw.
Our right to amend or withdraw a raffle
We reserve the right to amend these terms, correct pricing or descriptive errors, or withdraw a raffle prior to its draw date in genuinely exceptional circumstances, such as prize unavailability or suspected fraud. If we do withdraw a raffle before it's drawn, everyone who entered is offered a full refund of their ticket purchases for that raffle.
Where our liability is limited, and where it isn't
Our liability in connection with any raffle is capped at the greater of the advertised prize value or the total amount you paid for tickets in that raffle. That cap doesn't apply to death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything else that can't legally be excluded, and it never limits our liability for failing to deliver, or pay the cash alternative for, a prize you've validly won.
