Cash Alternative or Prize? How the Choice Works After You Win

A number of our raffles advertise a cash alternative alongside the physical prize, so you're not locked into taking a car, holiday, or item you might not want. Here's exactly how that choice, and the payout that follows it, actually works.

You get 7 days to decide

Where a cash alternative is advertised, the winner may choose either option and has 7 days from being notified of the win to make that decision. If you don't respond within that window, the cash alternative is paid automatically, so you're never at risk of losing out by not replying in time.

How each option is paid out

• Cash prizes, including the cash alternative, are transferred by bank transfer within 48 hours of the draw or of your decision.
• Physical prizes are delivered free of charge to a UK mainland address within 14 working days.
• Holiday and experience prizes, including travel, accommodation, and any treatments arranged on your behalf, are booked in consultation with you, subject to availability, through licensed and insured providers.

What we're responsible for on holiday and experience prizes

Where a prize involves travel outside the UK, or a treatment carried out by a third-party provider, our responsibility is limited to arranging and paying for that prize as advertised. The provider's own terms, and any applicable travel or medical insurance, govern the service itself, which is why we strongly advise winners take out independent travel insurance before travelling.

If a prize can't be provided as advertised

Even on raffles without an advertised cash alternative, a cash amount equal to the advertised prize value is available on request for any prize that can't reasonably be provided as advertised. You're never left without a resolution.
